Hi! I’m a Cloud Security practitioner, current working as a cloud researcher. I believe in using both offensive and defensive skillsets to approach cybersecurity right, and have followed this path with dedicated roles in penetration testing, incident response, detection engineering + threat hunting, and security engineering across both internal and consulting functions.
I earned my BS in Electrical Engineering from Rochester Intitute of Technology (RIT), and hold OSCP, GPEN, GCSA, Azure Security Engineer Associate, and Azure Administrator Associate certifications.
Documenting what I’ve learned through the writing on this blog allows me to:
- Capture my own technology notes as I learn
- Share advice I’ve provided to mentees
- Reflect on career growth and lessons learned
This creates an archive I can share with others, but also forces me to document where I’ve been! My current areas of technical focus are cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP), containers, and DevOps technologies.
